1 cup of honey (300 grams)
3 egg units
3 tablespoons of butter at room temperature
1 tablespoon of baking powder
1 teaspoon of powdered cinnamon
To stuff (optional):
1 can of dulce de leche
To the roof:
300 grams of chocolate in tablet
nuts
How to make Palmirinha honey bread:
To make this honey bread recipe, start by mixing the butter and honey, preferably with an electric mixer. Without stopping beating, add the eggs one by one.
After the previous step, add the sifted flour along with the cinnamon and the yeast, fold in the dough with a spoon, and beat again with an electric mixer. The result should be a dough with all the ingredients well mixed, and no lumps.
Place the dough on a greased and floured rectangular or square baking sheet and smooth. Bake in a preheated oven at 150ºC for 20 minutes, then go up to 180ºC and let it stay until golden.
When Palmirinha's honey bread is finished baking, chop the chocolate into pieces and melt in a bain-marie on the stove. Remove from heat when well melted.
When the cake is done, remove from the oven and let it cool. Then unmold, cut into slices using a round cutter and, if desired, you can cut in half to fill with dulce de leche.
Dip Palmirinha honey buns in melted chocolate, place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and let the chocolate harden. Then serve the buns decorated with walnuts, and be successful!
